ADIYOGI
"Adiyogi" translates to "the first yogi" and in yogic tradition, it refers to Shiva, the originator of yoga and the source of all yogic knowledge.
Isha Foundation, founded by Sadhguru, hosts various events of spiritual, social, and cultural significance, including the annual Mahashivratri celebration, which is a major Hindu festival honoring Shiva, and other events like Guru Purnima and Isha Kriya.
Every year, the ISHA event takes place in Adiyogi which is located in Coimbatore.
I was a part of 2025 ISHA event which took place on 26th of february.
I had a divine experience by just being in the premises of ISHA.
The event starts at 5pm in the evening followed by the "Rudraksha mala" distribution and ends at 5am the next morning.
Firstly, the event starts with lighting the divya jyoti 🪔 and then carried by the spiritual speech of Sadguru ji.
Later, we will have the laser light show which depicts the life of adiyogi.
I had a spiritual connection while the laser show was going on.
Personally felt like being there and going through each stage of lord shiva.
Then the event gets carried by various talent shows as listed below:

Later, around 9pm the dinner gets served which is called "Mahaprasadam". The people of ISHA foundation prepared a meal which includes "sambar rice" 😋 and a sweet.
Then, come back at your places and enjoy the event with some divine music and dance performances.
Around 1am, there will be another round of laser light show.
Later, there will be some more performances and then comes the meditation time.
From 3am - 4am, there will be meditation session which gives you the most underrated spiritual experience and takes you to another dimension.
During the meditation, there will be "OM" mantra chanting and we will be closing our eyes imagining lord shiva and offering prayers to him.
I actually felt his presence all over when i was meditating and offering my prayers. I could see a clear picture of lord shiva dancing in the mountains and couldn't stop myself from crying. After meditation, I slowly opened my eyes and looked at the ADIYOGI idol, completely held speechless of the divine experience I had.
After the event, I went to the "Dhyanalingeshwara" temple which is 4km far from the adiyogi idol. As soon as I entered the temple, the care takers adviced to be as silent as possible to feel the spirituality of the place.

The care takers perform the abhishekam 24/7 and some bhakts can do the meditation near the dhyanalingeshwara.
Later, we have started to Kovai Kutralam Waterfalls and had some refreshment there. This was my whole experience of ISHA event 2025.
