The name "Papikondalu," meaning "Papi Hills" in Telugu, is believed to have originated from the Telugu word "Papidi," which translates to "partition" or "separation," referring to how the hill range seems to divide the Godavari River.
Accessibility: You can reach the Papikondalu hills by boat from various points like Rajahmundry, Pattisam, Polavaram, Kunavaram, or Sriram Giri.
